Last week featured the most photographed sight of the city to be identified. I certainly would find it difficult to recall any other photograph of the city. No doubt they do exist but the collection of buildings seen from across a square have an iconic status and are often used to depict the autonomous region rather than the city. The buildings form the Potala Palace which is in the city of Lhasa, Tibet.
Congratulations this week to Hollyeh (@hollye_h), Davide (@travelling_dave), someone at the Italian Tourist Board (@ItalianTouristB), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys) and Tim (@timofnewbury).
This week’s distorted photograph has the potential to be misleading if you do not look carefully at the photograph. Identifying this city is another one of those challenging photographs I occasionally slip in. However, don’t let that put you off.
