It has only happened two or three times: a distorted city that no one can correctly identify. The striking red and white building is the Skansaskrapen. Its red and white architecture and shape has earned it the much more memorable nickname “The lipstick“. The sailing boat, a permanent feature of this particular harbour is the Barken Viking. The building’s real name and the ship’s name place the city somewhere in the Nordic countries. In fact the city is Gothenburg, Sweden.
This weeks twisted photograph is another iconic building that once identified will give you the city. Remember the answer I want is the city not the building. There are huge clues as to which country but after that you will have to do some research unless you recognise it from your travels or your reading.
As usual you can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW142. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer.
Please do not forget the hashtag #WITW142 as it makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; you and your answer is more likely to be found.
