Istanbul, Samarkand and Tehran were all suggested as possible candidates for the identity of the distorted city photograph from last week’s “Where in the World…” The blue dome of the mosque meant that the city was likely to be somewhere in the Middle East or Central Asia. The mosque is in fact the King Abdullah I Mosque and can be found in the city of Amman, Jordan.

This weeks twisted photograph, like last week’s, has several clues that identify in which part of the world the city is. Pinpointing which city may prove a little more challenging.
