Answer to edition 730
The buildings in the distorted photograph and the fact that they are beside water might suggest that it is a regenerated area of a city as dockland areas in many cities have been turned over to devlopments. If you managed to identify The Lowry, a theatre and gallery you will probably identified Salford Quays. These are found in Salford which is itself a City in Greater Manchester. Either Salford or Manchester are acceptable answers.
