Where in the World (627)

Answer to edition 606

Certainly the style of architecture would indicate that last week’s “Where in the World…” is a city in the Far East. Those familiar with such architecture may well have narrowed it down to China. It is The Forbidden City found in Beijing, China.

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (626) as Beijing: David (@SparkofLight), Joanna (@OanaRoua), Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), and Rebecca (@rebhalp).

Well done everyone.

This week's "Where in the World..."

This week the featured city is well-known having appeared on these pages a few times in different guises. This is a more unusual view of the city without two of its iconic landmarks and identifying features. Good luck
