Answer to edition 606
The conical towers of the castle are a very distinctive architectural feature more commonly seen in fairytales. The colour of the building eliminates chateau of the Loire which are pale limestone. Looking further and with a little help from Google it is possible to refine the search to The Netherlands. The city is Utrecht.
