Answer to edition 619
Last week’s “Where in the World…” featured a city with a sprawling complex with a number of spire-like structures. This was a major clue to the city’s identity and is known as the Grand Palace. The stupas (the spire-like structures) indicate that the city is in a buddhist country. Together they identify the city as Thailand’s capital, Bangkok

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (587) as London: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Rebecca (@rebhalp), Dee (@deecornes) and Atul (@pixodentist).
Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
This week we feature a city very different from the Asian city of Bangkok of last week. There are clues to the region and the country in which the city is located. Pinpointing the city’s identity is, perhaps, a little more challenging. Good luck
