Where in the World (529)

Answer to edition 527 and 528

Where in the World (527) featured a pagoda. This would indicate that it was somewhere in the Far East  However, there are several in western cities too (e.g. London’s Kew Gardens). Together with the palm tree and the pagoda, it is a safe bet that it is somewhere in the Far East. Most readers were able to identify the pagoda as the one in Hanoi, Vietnam.

The very distinctive architecture and the water in Where in the World (528) identify the city as Venice

Well done everyone.

This week's "Where in the World..."

This week’s “Where in the World…” features one particular building in the city to be identified. However, there are several minor clues that together help in identifying the city. Good luck
