2022, the year Where in the World turns 10
It doesn’t seem like it but this year the distorted city puzzle turns 10. Where in the World has been going since 2012 featuring cities from around the globe. There are only a few weeks when the city has not been identified.
So, as we enter yet another year I would like to wish all my readers and followers of Where in the World a happy new year. I do hope it will be easer to travel the globe once more in 2022.
Answer to edition 486
The two flags would suggest that the distorted city is in Italy. The style of the statues suggests the memorial was erected in the late 19th or early 20th century.
A little research reveals it to be the Vittorio Emanuele Memorial in Rome.

This week's "Where in the World..."
In this week’s “Where in the World…” there is only a single building but an iconic one that is well-known and associated with the city to be identified.
The style of the architecture may well be a clue as to the city’s identity; it certainly gives you the region of the world to narrow your research.
