Where in the World (447)

Answer to edition 446

Where in the World (446) was a tough one as it doesn’t feature in many tourist publications except perhaps those devoted to film locations.

Fans of the four films of the The Hunger Games franchise may well recognise the building from the final scenes of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, the last of the four Hunger Games’ films. The last battle climaxed here with what has become known as “the black goo” scene. It has also featured in a number of other films.

The building is in Les Espaces d’Abraxas in Noisy-le-Grand, Paris.

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (447) as Paris: Tim (@timofnewbury), and Jackie (@jackiesjourneys).

This week's "Where in the World..."

This week the distorted image is far less challenging than Where in the World (447). It features one of the two iconic views of the city to be identified. Good luck.
