Answer to edition 706
Last week’s distorted image was devoid of standout recognisable clues. It is possible to deduce that the city is somewhere in Europe, probably Central or Eastern Europe judging by the church steeple’s architecture. The city is probably on a major river given there is a river cruise vessel docked. That limits the choices down to 3 or 4 rivers. Again, refering to the architecture it is most likely the Danube.
It is, in fact, where the Sava meets the Danube at Belgrade.

Last week's winners
Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (706) as the Serbian capital, Belgrade: Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys) and Rebecca (@rebhalp).
Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
This week features yet another very distinctive building whic, once identified, will give you the city. The style of architecture will be helpful in narrowing down the possibilities and probably the region of the world the city is located. Good luck.
