Answer to edition 701
Interesting fact: the featured building in last week’s “Where in the World…” was not even a twinkle in an architect’s eye. Although the city, known for both its traditional and avant garde architecture, did feature prior to the construction of this building. It is an apartment block called the Sluishuis (Sluice House).
The picture features quite a lot of water, in fact the city is known for its canals but is not Venice. It is Amsterdam.

701Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (701) as the Dutch city of Amsterdam: Jackie (@jackiesjourneys) and Atul (@pixodentist).
Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
Two or three recognisable buildings dominate the skkyline of this city making it one of the easier cityies to identify. This week’s city has a connection with last week’s city. Do you know what that connection is? No prizes for guessing but there is extra kudos if you can tell us what the connection between Where in the World (701 & 702) is.
