Where in the World (674)

Answer to edition 673

Last week’s “Where in the World…” is indeed a Christian place of worship the many towers are all part of the same imposing cathedral. It is the end of a very long pilgrimage that begins in a number of places across Europe. It is the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, Northern Spain.

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (674) as Santiago de Compostela: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Rebecca (@rebhalp) and Atul (@pixodentist).

Well done everyone.

This week's "Where in the World..."

The cities of the continent of South America does not appear very often in these puzzles. To redress the balance I have decided that during the month of August every city will be somewhere in South America; not Latin America which includes Central America. Those will feature at a future date. So, it should be of some help knowing the region where the city is.

This week we have a city skyline with a quite distinctive bridge which should give you a clue.
