Answer to edition 614
If you identified the pale building as Nakhimovskoye Voyenno-Morskoye Uchilishche a naval college then you will likely have found the warship anchored close by. Or, you identified the warship as the Aurora (now a museum like HMS Belfast in London) first. Either way these clues, with a little research, would help you identify the ciry as St Peretersburg, Russia. As you can imagine, it is not a place to visit at the moment.

Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
This week we feature a city with a distinctive sky scraper built to withstand an earthquake of high magnitude. However it is not the only clue to the city’s identity. Good luck.
