Where in the World (602)

Answer to edition 587

Last week’s distorted image was clearly a walled city. Its style of architecture suggest a European city during medieval times. In fact because of its medieval appearance it has featured as the English city of Nottingham in the feature film “Robin Hood Prince of Thieves”. The two conical-roofed towers are one of the more distinctive features and help in the identification. The city is the French city of Carcassonne.

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (587) as London: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Rebecca (@rebhalp) and Atul (@pixodentist).

Well done everyone.

This week's "Where in the World..."

This week we feature a city skyline that looks like an alien spaceship has landed. The eerie glowing structure is in fact one of the main clues to identifying the city. Good luck.
