Firstly, thank you for your understanding last week and for the many condolences sent to me. They were very much appreciated. As a result of missing last week, this week there will be two distorted cities to identify.
Answer to edition 593
The tall building in Where in the World (593) is a rearview of the impressive Town Hall overlooking the Grand Place. It dominates the skyline of the city in which it is located and the square in front of it is one of Europe’s best-known squares. You will find it in Brussels.
Winners of 593
Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (587) as London: Dee (@deecornes), Atul (@pixodentist), Rebecca (@rebhalp), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Jackie (@jackiesjourneys).
Well done the five of you.
This week's "Where in the World..."
As promised this week there are two distorted cities. Where in the World (594) is a city skyline with a couple of very distinctive structures/buildings.
Where in the World (595) is also a city skyline featuring a distinctive, architecturaly speaking, building dominating the scene. The style of architecture should also give a clue to which part of the world to research.
