New Year Greetings
As this is the first post of 2024 and the first “Where in the World…” of the year I would like to wish all my readers a prosperous and happy New Year. May 2024 bring you laughter and learning as you rise to the challenges of identifying the weekly distorted cities
In just ten weeks we will have reach the milestone of 600 distorted cities.
Answer to edition 590
The prominent building in last week’s challenge likely to be a church or cathedral. If you recognised it as the Basilica of Saint Nicholas you will probably know the city. The style of the buildings adjacent to the church would suggest it is a Dutch city. The type boats confirms that the city is Amsterdam where these boats are ubiquitous on the cities numerous canals.
Last week's winners
Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (590) as Amsterdam: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys) and Rebecca (@rebhalp).
Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
This week we feature a city skyline with a plethora of iconic structures that will give a clue to the identity of the city. Good luck.
