Answer to edition 585
The rocketship-lookalike building is a distinctive landmark on the skyline of this city. Similarities to the “Gherkin” in London are obvious but this particular building is a long way from the British capital. The dome-shaped low-rise building next to the skyscraper is another clue but needs to be viewed in conjunction with the other. Together you may be able to do an image search and discover the skyline is the Bay Area of Shenzhen just across the border from Hong Kong.
