Answer to edition 583
Whenever there is a distorted image from the Far East that contains an oriental-style building it poses a challenge for readers. Is the building a temple, shrine, pagoda or is it a castle?
Once the building in this week’s “Where in the World…” is identified as a Japanese Castle it becomes easier, with a little bit of research, to identify it as Osaka Castle which is in the city of the same name.
Last week's winners
Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (583) as Osaka: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys) and Rebecca (@rebhalp).
Well done everyone.
This week's "Where in the World..."
City skylines, especially seen across a stretch of water, always make good subjects for “Where in the World…”
There are several prominent and not-so-obvious clues in the skyline that should help to identify this week’s city. Good luck
