Answer to edition 577
The architecture suggests somewhere in Central Europe or parts of Germany. Berlin, Bucharest and even Funchal, Madeira were all suggested. However, the main clue is the pink church. You will find it opposite the unusual Triple Bridge (only just visible in the distorted image). Both are in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana.
The viewpoint, for those interested, is most likely Castle Hill.
