Answer to edition 578
Very often architecture is the major way of identifying the city or the region it is in. Usually, it is the external architecture that is presented in the distorted images of “Where in the World…”. The decoration is typical Baroque style. During the mid to late 1800s a number of similar structures were built pre-dating our modern shopping malls.
This one is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and can be found in the city of Milan
