Where in the World (577)

Answer to edition 576

The style of architecture of the featured building and the houses would suggest somewhere in southern Europe. Additionally, the fact that is built on a hilltop and looks like a defensive building eliminates many candidate cities. After a little research on Google, the city can be identified as Segovia, Spain

Well done everyone.

This week's "Where in the World..."

This week “Where in the World…” is slightly different. You still have to identify the city but it is a city in ruins. It is also not the most iconic view of the city either. However, it is a fairly well-known city to those who travel a great deal. Good luck
