Where in the World (569)

Answer to edition 568

The flag in last week’s “Where in the World…” would indicate that the city is somewhere in Spain. The architecture of the tower is Moorish which narrows the possibilities down to southern Spain. Further research will reveal the Tower is the Golden Tower or Torre del Oro in the city of Seville.

Last week’s winners

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (569) as Seville: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Rebecca (@rebhalp) and Atul (@pixodentist).

Well done everyone.

This week’s “Where in the World…”

This week’s “Where in the World…” may well prove a little more challenging as there is very little no iconic landmarks present. However, the fact that we have heard a lot about this city recently may well help in its identification. Good luck
