Answer to edition 563

In the distorted image from last week’s “Where in the World…” it is easy to identify a statue, an imposing arched entrance and a cathedral or church. These are the monument to Victor Emmanuel II, the Galleria Vittorio II and the city’s Metropolitan Cathedral. Identifying even one of these will give you a clue that the city to be identified is Italian. If you didn’t know already, identifying all three gives you the city of Milan.
