Where in the World (557)

Answer to edition 556

From the distorted image, it was easy to recognise the building as a place of worship and most likely a cathedral in a European city. The style of architecture would suggest it was an English cathedral. From there a bit of research on Google would identify it as Wells Cathedral, which of course gives us the city.

Where in the World 556 Wells Cathedral
City of Wells, UK

Last week’s winners

Congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (556) as the City of Wells, UK: Tim (@timofnewbury), Jackie (@jackiesjourneys), Atul (@pixodentist) and Dee (@DeeCornes)

Well done everyone.

This week’s “Where in the World…”

The style of architecture will help identify the city. However, you may remember seeing this view many years ago as it is one of iconic images of the city. Good luck
