Where in the World (550)

Answer to edition 549

Last week’s “Where in the World…” was a real toughie it seems. Most readers recognised that it must be somewhere in Scandinavia because of the style and colour of the houses. Right so far.

Most guesses were based around Norway and Sweden – probably because of the style of the church above the trees (probably a wooden or stave church). Factor in the boats, water and observation tower and you might, with a little research comes up with Stockholm, the correct answer.

A special congratulations to those who identified the distorted city from Where in the World (549) as Stockholm: Tim (@timofnewbury) and Jackie (@jackiesjourneys).

It was a real challenge so well done the two of you.

This week's "Where in the World..."

OK, this one is much, much easier. Two iconic structures that have made more than one appearance in “Where in the World…” often together and sometimes separately. Good luck.
