Where in the World (481)

Answer to edition 480

This skyline gave very few clues as to the identity of the city. The pointed conical shape is actually the tower of Customs House, a period building. The architecture of the lower-rise modern buildings reflects the period architecture of the city too.

It was quite a challenge so I gave a hint when I posted the photo a week ago. The city played a major role in the countries independence when the locals dumped a load of tea in the harbour. That event became known as the Boston Tea Party.

The city is Boston, USA
