9 Years of Where in the World
It doesn’t seem like it but today we reach the ninth anniversary of “Where in the World…”
That’s a lot of distorted cities. I am not sure how many different cities have put in an appearance as several have featured more than once.
I was reviewing my collection of city images to be distorted and was surprised to discover that I have enough to continue far another nine years and then some. So I decided that I would gather some together in an eBook to offer to my readers. I am putting the finishing touches to the book and will give more details on how to get it when the answer to this week’s “Where in the World…” is given next week.
Answer to edition 467
Almost everyone who entered Where in the World (467) identified the art installation as “She Lies” by Italian sculpture Monica Bonvicini. According to Wikipedia the sculpture was made by Bonvicini as a three-dimensional interpretation of Caspar David Friedrich’s painting The Sea of Ice.
The sculpture floats in fjord in front of the Opera House in Norway’s capital, Oslo.

This week's "Where in the World..."
At first this distorted image may look confusing. However, look a little closer and you will see clues to the city’s identity. Good luck.
