Answer to edition 458
Several readers placed the city in the Netherlands most likely recalling the photo of the coloured houses of Groningen which appeared in “Where in the World…” on a previous occasion. For the same reason Bergen in Norway was suggested.
These colourful houses have also appeared on these pages before. The Toytown style of houses is the clinching clue. It is Nyhavn, a harbour-side district of cafes, bars and restaurants in the middle of Copenhagen.
