Both the gargoyle and the distant view of a well known iconic landmark were giveaway clues to the identity of last week’s city. The Gargoyle sits on top of Notre Dame cathedral and the distant landmark is a structure built by a certain Gustav Eiffel. The city of course is Paris.
Congratulations go to quite a few readers who identified the city as Paris. They are Louise (@blackbis5), someone at the Italian Tourist Board (@ItalianTouristB), Beverley (@bevsackville), Simon (@similtiades), Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Tim (@timofnewbury) and Atul (@pixodentist)
This week is a view of a city that includes a landmark building for which the city is famous. Identifying the building goes a long way to identifying the city.
