Using a combination of clues it was possible to identify the city in last week’s distorted photograph. The TV tower, the bridge, the skyline and the hills in the background were all unique to one particular city. If you took the TV tower alone you may have been directed, like many people were, to Auckland, Toronto, Shanghai and Berlin. All have similar towers and with the exception of Berlin also have a large body of water to reflect the skyline.
However the Namsan Tower is in none of these cities and I don’t recall the hills and the actual skyline being in any of these cities either. All these identify the city of Seoul, South Korea. OK so it was a lot more challenging this week but they can’t all be easy.
Despite the good number of guesses placing the city in New Zealand, China, Canada and Germany there was only one person who managed to identify Seoul. Well done Tim (@timofnewbury) for being the only person to identify the South Korean city.
This week’s distorted photograph depicts a single building that is one of the iconic buildings of the city to be identified. It should be a little less challenging than last week.
