Last week’s distorted view of a city took me on a journey across Europe. Prague, Florence and Rome were all suggested; none of them though were correct. The continent was correct but not the city. One reader, Andrew (@SplashDSM), not only identified the building but also the viewpoint from where the undistorted photograph was taken (see below)
@lethers Hi Gordon I'm back after a long squawk – this is the Parliament in Pest as viewed from Fisherman' Bastion in Buda

As the tweet above suggests the city is the Hungarian capital, Budapest.
Despite the variety of incorrect guesses there were also a number of correct identifications. Congratulations to Jackie (@JackiesJourneys), Liz (@holistic_liz), Atul (@pixodentist), Tim (@timofnewbury), Andrew (@SplashDSM) and Richard (@RField75). Also Adriaan Neervoort who left his answer on Facebook
This week’s distorted city to identify is more of a challenge. As with Phnom Penh a week or so ago it is easy enough to identify the region of the world but but is more of a challenge identifying which of the many cities there it is.
Can you identify this week’s city? You can leave your answer in the comments below or on my Twitter feed (@lethers) with the hashtag #WITW10*. If we mutually follow each other on Twitter then you could send me a direct message with your answer. Please do not forget the hashtag #WITW108 as it makes finding the answers in a continually changing Twitter feed so much easier; you and your answer are more likely to be found.
You can also leave your answer under the post referring to this on the Travel Unpacked Facebook page (please like the page while you are there). Alternatively you can also click the contact tab above and send me an e-mail with the answer. Good luck.
